The garden of the savours

Already very appreciated in 2000, the garden of the savours got bigger and complements itself of a garden of the local healing plants.
Each can there come to pick spices to perfume lunched sound.

Sanitary facilities

After the renovation of showers and the installation of 2 supplementary toilets in 1998, the space washbasins is modernized with the installation of 4 bowls and modern mixers.
A new toilet block is put in service in 2001 what allows to double the capacity of supply of warm water.

The Swimming pool

Since July, 1998, 2 ponds were put in service.
Big bath: 6 metres by 12, depth from 1.20 metres to 1.90 metres.
Small bath: 3 metres by 5, depth 40 cms.

The big beach with sight on mountain massifs has just received in 2001 its definitive tiled floor.

Creation of a space of reception and services

Put in service in 2000, he allows to assure a reception of quality and to offer services in good conditions.

Clefs Vertes
(Green keys)

The label " Clefs Vertes " was awarded to La Serre de Portelas by the Foundation for the Education to the Ecology in Europe in June, 1999.

The FEEE has particularly to notice the information and the sensitization of the users to the ecology and the particularly low density of the installations.

European centre of the Volcanism
VULCANIA

In 2002 opening of European Centre of the Volcanism, in the heart of Park of the Volcanoes of Auvergne unless a quarter of an hour of Portelas's greenhouse.
